Bazi or 4 Pillars Life Destiny

Through an 8 Characters analysis, insight into many areas of life can be gained including:

* favorable careers
* prospects of wealth
* suitable times to engage in investments
* prospects for marriage and romantic relationships
* compatibility with mate
* relationships with family and friends
* suitable living environments
* potential health risks

8 Characters Chart analysis is a scientific method that derives the elemental components that make up each individual person. The elements are allocated according to the time, date, month and year of our birth. Each pillar contains two elements that will build a formula using wood, fire, earth, metal and water for each person.

Bazi analysis can be used to understand our strengths and weaknesses, our character, the state of our health and even how we relate to other people.

When used in conjunction with Feng Shui, bazi is a powerful tool for enhancing the lives of those who come under its influence.

These five elements (Water, Wood, Fire, Earth and Metal) interact with another in predetermined ways following either the cycle of production (one element giving rise to the other) or the cycle of destruction (one element destroying the other).

If your self element is FIRE and you are born in the SUPPORTING season of FIRE. FIRE needs WOOD. The more FIRE and WOOD evident in your four pillars the stronger you are. METAL, EARTH and WATER will make you weaker. If you are too strong (ie. carry too much fire and wood), you need the presence of WATER, METAL or EARTH to bring you into balance. If the elements you need are not available in your four pillars you can look in your hidden stems, your luck cycle or use feng shui to improve your strength and balance. Each element represents a different aspect of your life. The placement of the elements in relationship to each other represents how each aspect of your life is working (or not). Destiny and character analysis is a complex and fascinating science.

Human beings, like all aspects of nature in the universe, are also influenced by the five elements and by their interactions.

When a person’s birthday (year, month, day and hour) is converted into these elements, the Four Pillars of Information is then obtained. This is why method is called The Four Pillars of Destiny.

This method of destiny analysis called “The 8 Characters Chart” examines the elements of which a person is composed and how they are related to one other.

The basic idea is that everyone possesses some elements in excess with others less predominant. As harmony in life is achieved when all elements are in balance, a person can achieve things more smoothly when he or she is under influence of their positive elements. In contrast, when the elements that are already in excess in certain years or periods of his or her life, then the person will have difficulties in certain areas. These depend on what aspect of life is represented by this particular element (these areas include money, career, partner, education, resources and friends).

This method is very accurate because it follows logical rules. By knowing the date and the exact hour of birth, a great deal of information can be derived about this person.

The importance of a person’s birthday in his fortune according to Chinese wisdom there are 5 factors that influence human fortune, with destiny and luck coming first.
1. Destiny - This is fixed at the birth of a person.
2. Luck - Ups and downs of a person can be calculated from his or her birthday.
3. Feng Shui – This is the influence of the environment on human well-being.
4. Virtue - Good deeds can improve fortune.
5. Education

The 8 Characters Chartis the blueprint of a person. It reveals potential of a person and possibilities of events as opposed to certainties in life. These potentials or inborn qualities may or may not be expressed depending on cirumstances of a person's life i.e. the country the person was born, his/her upbringing and family background. By knowing our potential, we can better prepare ourselves and make adjustments in our life to make these potential becomes reality.

Our 4 Pillars chart must be balanced to live a harmonious and productive life. If it is not, we must determine the element/s that is/are needed to bring the chart more balanced. The element/s that will bring balance to the chart is/are called our favorable elements. Enhancing our favorable elements helps us achieve our potential.

The elements that cause imbalance in our chart are our unfavorable elements. These elements cause obstacles in our life and hinder us to achieve something great.
